ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The assembly The airbag ring must be removed from the center position (the tires must be in the straight-ahead position) and the steering wheel must be completely centered.

The ring is supplied in the center position and secured with a pin. The pin must be released after assembly, releasing the spring.

If centering is required, follow these instructions:

Turn the rotor counterclockwise (left) as far as it will go. Turn approximately 3.0 turns clockwise until the rotor marks align.

Under no circumstances should the spring be released before installation, otherwise, if it is released before assembly, the spring will be distorted in advance and will very likely come loose during the operation and become unusable.

Spiral Cable

The spiral cable connects the rigid steering column to the movable steering wheel. It ensures communication between the airbag control unit and the gas generator during the steering wheel's rotational movement. The conductive foil is wound in such a way that it is able to follow the rotational movement of 2.5 turns in each direction.

It is important to be very careful when installing or removing this spiral cable. It must be ensured that the steering is in the center position and that the wheels are also straight. If the spiral cable has been disassembled, it cannot be rewound.
