Airbag systems are somentidated to explosive legislation in force in each country. The following security instructions must be respected when manipulating them:

-Pare the engine, disconnect the battery and wait for the memoirs of the electronic calculator to be erased (at least 10 minutes). Start the engine and check that the instrument board does not turn on.

-Deconect the airbag module before any intervention in the vehicle's electrical circuit (ohmimeter, measuring instruments, etc.)

-Manipulate the airbag modules with caution (avoid blows, keep the opening space and store the airbag modules up)

-Noke disassemble the module or connect a measurement apparatus on the same module.

-The assembly and disassembly of the airbag ring must be carried out in the central position (the direction of the tires must be in the online march position) and the steering wheel in a fully centered position.

The ring is supplied in the central position and ensures with a pin, the bolt must be released after assembly, releasing the dock.

The dock should not be released before placement under any circumstances, otherwise, when released before assembly, the dock will be distorted in advance being very likely that it will be released during the operation and it is useless.

In case of receiving, following the following instructions (valid for most references):

Rotor rotor in the anti-Horary direction (left) until top. Turn approximately 3.0 turns in a schedule (right) to align the rotor marks.

The spiral cable represents the union between the rigid steering column and the mobile steering wheel. It allows to ensure communication between the airbag control unit and the gas generator during the rotating movement of the steering wheel. The conductive sheet is enrolled in such a way that it is capable of following the rotating movement of 2.5 turns in each direction.

It is important to be very careful when assembling or disassembling this spiral cable. It should be guaranteed that the address is in the central position and that the wheels are also straight. If the spiral cable has been disassembled, it will not be able to re -wind again.
