Important: Before ordering, check the internal diameter measurements for the 39 mm steering wheel level sensor coupling and the 6 and 13 mm anchor pin measurements for said sensor.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The airbag ring must be assembled and disassembled in the center position (the tires must be in the straight-ahead position) and the steering wheel must be completely centered.

The ring is supplied in the central position and is secured with a pin. The pin must be released after assembly, releasing the spring.

If centering is required, follow these instructions:

Turn the rotor counterclockwise (left) to the stop. Turn approximately 3.0 turns clockwise (right) until the marks on the rotor are aligned.

The spring must not be released before installation under any circumstances; otherwise, if released before assembly, the spring will be distorted beforehand, and it is very likely to detach during assembly and become unusable.

Spiral Cable

The spiral cable connects the rigid steering column to the movable steering wheel. It ensures communication between the airbag control unit and the gas generator during the steering wheel's rotational motion. The conductive foil is wound in such a way that it is capable of following the rotational motion of 2.5 turns in each direction.

It is important to be very careful when installing or removing this spiral cable. Ensure that the steering is in the center position and that the wheels are also straight. If the spiral cable has been removed, it cannot be rewound.
