ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The installation and removal of the airbag ring must be carried out in the center position (the direction of the tires must be in the straight-line driving position) and the steering wheel in a fully centered position.

The ring is supplied in the center position and is secured with a pin, the bolt must be released after mounting, releasing the spring.

If recentering is required, follow the instructions below:

Rotate rotor anti-clockwise (left) as far as it will go. Rotate approximately 3.0 turns clockwise (rights) to align markings on rotor.

The spring must not be released before its placement under any circumstances, otherwise, when it is released before assembly, the spring will be distorted beforehand, and it is very likely that it will come off during the operation and become useless.

The spiral cable represents the connection between the rigid steering column and the mobile steering wheel. It makes it possible to ensure communication between the airbag control unit and the gas generator during the turning movement of the steering wheel. The conductive sheet is wound in such a way that it is capable of following the rotary movement of 2.5 turns in each direction.

It is important to be very careful when mounting or dismounting this spiral cable. It must be ensured that the steering is in the center position and that the wheels are also straight. If the spiral cable has been removed, it cannot be wound up again.

The supplied products must be used exclusively in accordance with the intended use. Assembly must be carried out by specialized personnel. The products are delivered without assembly instructions.
