ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The assembly and disassembly of the airbag ring must be carried out in the central position (the direction of the tires must be in the straight line position) and the steering wheel in fully centered position

The ring is supplied in the central position and is secured with a pin, the pin must be released after assembly, releasing the spring

If you need Recentraging, follow the following instructions:

- Rotate rotor counterclockwise (left) as far as it will go. Turn approximately 3.0 turns clockwise (clockwise) until
align the rotor marks. < / em>

The spring must not be released before its placement under any circumstances , otherwise, when released before assembly, the spring will be distorted beforehand, being very likely to come off during the operation and be disabled

Spiral cable

The spiral cable represents the connection between the rigid steering column and the movable steering wheel. It allows to ensure communication between the airbag control unit and the gas generator during the turning movement of the steering wheel. The conductive foil is wound in such a way that it is able to follow the rotary movement of 2.5 turns in each direction.

It is important to be very careful when assembling or disassembling this spiral cable. It must be ensured that the steering is in the center position and that the wheels are also straight. If the spiral cable has been removed, it cannot be rewound.
