Recommended Use:

Especially recommended for the protection of tropical wood to maintain its original appearance, preventing premature deterioration in garden furniture and floors.

Terms:

• Maximum 85% relative humidity
• Application temperature: 5 - 35ºC
• Do not apply with risk of rain
• Do not apply in full sun
• Avoid high humidity and areas with dew forecast.

Surface Preparation and Recommended Scheme:

It is recommended to sand the wood beforehand, remove any adhering dust and apply a generous coat of TEKA OIL. After 20-30 minutes, remove excess oil with a lint-free cloth.

After 24 hours, a second coat of the product can be applied following the same instructions.

In the event that the woods to be treated are very dry, it is advisable to carry out several applications until a smooth, satin-gloss finish is obtained.

Between coat and coat it is convenient to sand lightly with fine sandpaper, in order to obtain a high quality finish.

On new wood we recommend applying the product to saturation or a minimum of two layers depending on the porosity and thickness of the wood to achieve adequate protection.

On surfaces in poor condition, we recommend removing the old paint or varnish and treating it like a new surface.

The product is formulated ready to use.

Observations:

Wood moisture should not exceed 15%.

Homogenize the contents of the container by mechanical or manual agitation very well.

The indicated VOC value corresponds to the product ready for use.

The drying, recoating and hardening time will depend on the environmental conditions during the application and drying.

Storage life in stock is greater than 3 years under normal storage conditions.

The opened or diluted containers the time is ostensibly reduced.

Store at temperatures between 10 - 30º C. Avoid exposing the containers to sources of ignition, direct exposure to the sun or temperatures close to 0º C.

Do not dilute more than recommended.

Security:

Solvent-based product, it is essential to read the container label, it is recommended to follow the requirements of national or local legislation on occupational safety, hygiene and the environment.

In general, avoid contact with eyes and skin, wear gloves, protective glasses and appropriate clothing.

Use only in well ventilated places.
